Forward to Earth and Towards Infinity 2019

Reflective metalic leaf, steel and plastic structure 260 x 130 x 60 cm

The installation Forward to Earth & Towards Infinity is composed of two ovoid disks that transform, join, and merge, reciprocally integrating each other's characteristics. It engenders the ∞ lemniscate; the concept of infinity. Made of red metallic leaves whose reflections energize the space in which it coexists with us.

Already at the dawn of humanity, the flux of culture of One and Other, favored a diversity that generated an overlap of cultures. Conversely, my installation and the compositional approach of Makdissi-Warren's Back to Earth, highlights the socio-cultural of a world where our present and future universe intersects and overlaps.

The lemniscate is a form in continuous movement, working on time and space. Illuminating our existence, it generates a creative power, a becoming of here and elsewhere.
